ROH TV Results – July 13, 2023
Kicking off this week’s ROH with Matt Sydal is in the back & Sydal calls out Prince Nana & 6 Man Tag Team Champion Brian Cage after his Blind Eliminator Tag Team loss on last Friday’s Rampage. Cage told Sydal to find some partners and they’ll have themselves a 6 Man Tag Team Match.
Big Bill vs. Serpentico
Big Bill shoots Serpentico to the floor then Serpentico came back into the ring and threw several strikes before baiting Bill to chase him. Serpentico knocks Bill off the apron and hits a dive to the floor. Serpentico went to the top rope but Bill avoided the dive before tossing Serpentico with ease.
Serpentico sends Bill into the corner with a dropkick but Bill flung him away before Bill hung Serpentico on the ropes before booting him to the floor. Bill brought Serpentico back into the ring & plants him to the mat with a Chokeslam to get the win.
Winner: Big Bill
Ian Riccaboni announces the Television Title #1 Contenders Tournament & this week Dalton Castle will wrestle Tony Nese & Shane Taylor will wrestle Shawn Dean & the winners of those matches will wrestle next week to determine Samoa Joe’s challenger at Death Before Dishonor.
Non Title Match
Women’s Champion Athena vs. Ava Lawless
Ava Lawless nails Athena with a slap and a forearm before dropping her with a slingblade. Athena kips up and drops Lawless with a forearm before clubbering on her then Athena locks in a crossface for the submission win.
Winner By Submission: Women’s Champion Athena
After the match Athena drops Lawless face first on the Women’s Title.
6 Man Tag Team Match
The Righteous (Vincent, Dutch & Stu Grayson) vs. Michael Richard Allen Clark, Levi Knight & Evan Rivers
Stu Grayson got a jump start on Evans Rivers by sending him up and over with a belly 2 belly suplex. Levi Knight tags in but was quickly overwhelmed by Grayson & Dutch. Evil Uno made his way to ringside with a chair as Grayson drops Knight with a uranage.
Grayson & Vincent double teamed Knight but Knight found a way to tag out to Michael Richard Allen Clark & Clark ran wild for a moment but Grayson cuts him off with a knee strike. The Righteous ran through their big moves before The Righteous connects with a triple team T Slam to get the win.
Winners: The Righteous
After the match Evil Uno hits Knight with a chair showing the violent streak The Righteous wanted to see.
Backstage Lexy Nair is with Matt Sydal & he announced that his partners would be Christopher Daniels & Darius Martin.
Leyla Hirsch vs. Bambi Hall
Leyla Hirsch cuts off Bambi Hall with a kitchen sink knee before bringing her down with an arm wringer. She ties Hall up in the ropes before drilling her with lariats in the corner.
Hirsch clubbers on Hall in the corner and cuts Hall off on a comeback attempt with a back elbow.
Hall hit a corner charge but Hirsch fought off Hall’s shoulders and hit a German suplex. Hirsch locked on an armbar to score the win.

Nese cuts a promo on the crowd & says that nobody likes a smelly Regina before he led group exercises before Dalton Castle made his way to the ring.
Semi Final Match Of The Television Title #1 Contenders Tournament
Dalton Castle vs. Tony Nese
Tony Nese almost got caught in the Bang A Rang early on but fought out and clobbers on Dalton Castle. Castle caught Nese coming off of the ropes and hits a overhead suplex as Castle held control with a waistlock.
Ari Daivari & Mark Sterling took his attention allowing Nese to hook Castle over the ropes before dropping him with a clothesline then on the floor Nese ducks a clothesline with Castle hitting the ring post instead.
Nese dropkicks Castle in the corner before hitting a spinning heel kick for a near fall. Nese drops Castle on a dropdown but Castle avoids the triangle moonsault. Castle ran wild with suplexes then after some shenanigans with Varsity Athletes & The Boys Castle drops Nese with Bang A Rang to get the win.
Winner: Dalton Castle
Semi Final Match Of The Television Title #1 Contenders Tournament
Shane Taylor vs. Shawn Dean
Shawn Dean had a stick & move strategy with Shane Taylor which work until Taylor moves him to the mat with a forearm. Taylor nails Dean with heavy strikes to the head and body before hooking him up in a bearhug.
Dean fought out and avoided a corner charge before rocking Taylor with a jumping knee. Taylor caught Dean with a uranage but Dean moves out of the way of a 2nd rope splash.
Dean caught Taylor with a butterfly DDT and went to the top rope but Taylor got the knees up on a splash.
Taylor talks trash allowing Dean to fight back but Taylor drops Dean with a headbutt then connects with a Elbow to get the win.
Winner: Shane Taylor (He will face Dalton Castle in the Finals)
Tag Team Match
The Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett) vs. The Boys (Brandon Tate & Brent Tate)
Matt Taven starts this match with Brent Tate & he knocks him down with a suplex. Taven talks trash before dropping Brent with a spinning heel kick. Mike Bennett & Brandon Tate tags in with Bennett controlling Brandon with chops before dropping him with a forearm. The Kingdom hit a tag team combo for a near fall.
Bennett caught Brandon in a Kimura Lock but Brandon got to the ropes then Brandon made the tag to Brent & he ran wild on The Kingdom. The Boys got some tandem offense in by dropping Taven with a standing Sliced Bread before taking Bennett down with a double team neckbreaker.
Bennett cuts off another double team move before he drops Brent with a Death Valley Driver then they hit Rockstar Supernova on Brandon for the win.
Winners: The Kingdom
Non Title Match
6 Man Tag Team Champions The Embassy (Brain Cage, Kaun & Toa Liona) vs. Matt Sydal, Christopher Daniels & Darius Martin
Kaun & Christopher Daniels starts us off with Daniels, Matt Sydal & Darius Martin pinballing Kaun in their corner. Sydal & Martin teamed up by keeping Kaun off balance before Kaun tags in Toa Liona but he hit the post on a dive allowing Daniels to tag in.
Liona caught Daniels with a pop up Samoan Drop before Brian Cage sends Daniels flying with a fallaway slam. The Embassy clobbers on Daniels in their corner. Daniels caught Liona in a roll up but the referee’s attention was with The Embassy in the corner. More clobbering on Daniels but Daniels was able to fight to the corner and tag out to Martin.
Martin ran wild on The Embassy by scoring a near fall on Kaun that got broken up by Cage then Cage caught Martin with a pop up into a superkick but Martin cut off Cage and got the tag to Sydal & Sydal ran wild on Cage by dropping Cage with a series of kicks for a near fall.
Kaun took Sydal down & that leads to a F5 from Cage for a near fall. Cage sets up for Drill Claw but Sydal caught him with a hurricanrana for a near fall. Sydal caught Cage with a knee allowing Sydal, Daniels & Martin to run wild. Sydal hits a Meteora on Cage then goes for a cover but Kaun broke it up.
Both teams brawl before Cage & Sydal were alone as Sydal caught Cage with an inside cradle but Cage kicks out and drops him with a spinning lariat follow by Drill Claw to score the win.
