Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com is reporting that the AEW Double or Nothing 2021 PPV “looks to have significantly beaten the 120,000 buys” of last year’s event. Double or Nothing also appears to be the second most-purchased PPV event in AEW history following the Revolution PPV from earlier this year.
Attendance at Daily’s Place was said to be around 5,200 (300 shy of a sellout) with 4,700 tickets sold and a $300,000 gate.
In regards to what convinced fans to purchase the PPV, Meltzer noted that the most responses he received were from people that liked the depth of the card and were interested in seeing the return of a large crowd.
