10. The Ultimate Warrior

After his retirement, Warrior took part in several wresting events in 1996. He returned from his semi-retirement at the Wrestlemania XII and smashed Hunter Hearst Hemsley in his first game. He unsuccessfully tried to contend for the Intercontinental title. He tried his luck in the King of the Ring competition but was kicked out in the opening round.

He was also expected to participate in a six-man tag match at In Your House 9. However, he was substituted when WWE ended his contract for failing to honor dates. He was initiated into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014. 

9. Goldberg

Goldberg returned to the WWE between 2016 and 2017 in what fans and punters on Betway knew would be huge. On his return, he went to Sportscenter and requested a match against Brock Lesnar. He was granted his wish at the 2016 Survivor series, where he smashed Lesnar. 

He also participated in the Royal Rumble, where he eliminated Lesnar. During that period, he also won the Universal Title, snatching it from Kevin Owens in 2017 at Fastlane. He later lost in Wrestlemania 33 to Lesnar in his first clean loss in his WWE career. 

8. Brock Lesnar

Lesnar’s part-time run was between 2012and 2015. After he left in 2004, not many thought he would return. However, he returned at the Raw eight years later in what was tipped to be huge. He appeared on limited occasions and took on WWE’s biggest stars. 

The most memorable fight was against John Cena at the SummerSlam 2014. He dominated the fight with nearly 20 suplexes to win the WWE championship. His most significant win was against The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX.

7. John Cena

John Cena is undoubtedly one of the greatest stars in WWE history. Since 2018, he has taken part in less than 20 fights but has elevated many wrestlers. His star power is still intact with 16 World Championships to his name. There is always talk of him winning his 17th and breaking the tie with Ric Flair. The highlight of his part-time career is helping wrestlers. One notable wrestler he’s helped is Bray Wyatt, whom he overpowered at WrestleMania XXX.

6. Triple H

Triple H participated in 28 matches from the time of Extreme Rules 2010. His part-time wrestling legacy is underlined by his games on Wrestlemania. He’ll be remembered for reigning in the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble match in 2016 and his role as leader of The Authority. 

His most notable matches as a part-timer were against Undertaker at WrestleMania. Although he was known for destroying talents in his glory days, he has uplifted several budding wrestlers in his later life. 

5. Mick Foley

Mick-foley’s had an incredible part-time career between 2330 and 2004. He marked his return as a referee in the clash between Kevin Nash and Triple H in the Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood. Foley was recognized for his achievements in the ring at the June 23rd Raw edition with a retired Hardcore Championship.

RickFlair and Randy Orton Attacked him backstage and threw him down the stairs. Foley and Orton later clashed a Rumble match where Foley won. Later, the two met again at the Intercontinental Championship. Orton emerged the winner in what is believed to be the best match in the two wrestler’s careers. 

4. Batista

Before he left in 2010, Batista was among the main attractions on SmackDown. His return was not a surprise as WWE advertised him on Raw before the Royal Rumble. Batista announced his participation in the Rumble match, which he won. 

Batista took part in several WrestleMania feuds with the likes of Alberto Del Rio. He went on to reform Evolution together with Tripple H and Randy Orton to take on The Shield. After they lost to the Shield twice, Batista quit WWE. 

3. The Undertaker

The Undertaker’s part-time career began after the “End of an Era” match at WrestleMania 28. He fought in one match every year at WrestleMania. During the part-time career, he battled several top-rated WrestleMania stars. His presence in matches made them feel noteworthy. 

He later announced his retirement on The Last Ride documentary. In the series, viewers were able to see the torture he put on his body. However, fans and punters on Betway can hope to see him back someday as retirements don’t last in wrestling. 

2. Ronda Rousey 

Ronda Rousey is one of the few part-timers in the WWE’s women division. She began fighting alongside Kurt Angle to take on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania 34. She went on to put dominant performances before winning the RAW’s women’s SummerSlam title. 

Her career reached its pick when she feuded with Becky Lynch and Charlotte at Wrestlemania 35 main event. She pinned Lynch and triumphed over one of the greatest stars ever witnessed.

The Rock’s part-time stint lasted between 2011 and 2013. On his return, he was the host of Wrestlemania 27. He was involved in the main even event when he restarted it after it was declared a no-contest. He challenged John Cena to a fight the following night at WrestleMania 28. The match was dubbed “Once in a Lifetime.” The WWE booked the match again the next year.

Cena and the Rock faced off at WrestleMania 28, where The Rock won. He later took on CM Punk to battle it out for the WWE title and won. He later had an uninspiring rematch with John Cena with Cena winning.
