Warner Bros. Discovery will soon reveal the premiere date of AEW Collision, a new weekly two-hour television program from the company that will air on TNT. The announcement is anticipated to be made at the UpFronts presentation on Wednesday.
Starting on June 17, the new show will air weekly on TNT and TBS alongside Dynamite and Rampage.
The addition of CM Punk, who is expected to make his comeback on the premiere episode of Collision, will give the promotion a star power boost as well. Due to the altercation with The Elite and the injury he sustained in the All Out main event, the former AEW World Heavyweight Champion has been away since All Out last year.
According to Dave Meltzer’s report in the most recent Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the premiere episode of the program will be titled “AEW Collision, The Second Coming.”
As PWMania.com previously reported, there has been talk about Punk working with Chris Jericho when he makes a comeback, but Punk has positioned himself to work with another wrestler.
