Kota Ibushi, one of the biggest free-agent stars in wrestling today, has agreed to a one-time match with AEW.
The former NJPW star will be the final member of The Elite’s Blood & Guts team, joining Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson), and Hangman Page to face Blackpool Combat Club members Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, and Konosuke Takeshita, as well as PAC.
The match will air on Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. In the Blind Eliminator tag team tournament finals, MJF and Adam Cole will face Sammy Guevara and Daniel Garcia, and FTW Champion Hook will face Jack Perry.
Ibushi announced on Twitter that he had arrived in the United States, where he had reunited with his Golden Lovers partner/good friend Kenny Omega and Michael Nakazawa.
Ibushi will make his AEW debut with Blood and Guts.
