Photo: CJ Perry Undergoes Successful Surgery

CJ Perry recently revealed on social media that she has undergone successful surgery. While the former WWE and AEW star did not disclose the nature of the medical issue, she shared a video from her hospital bed before the procedure. Afterward, Perry followed up with a reassuring message, posting a photo and writing:

“Made it out of surgery. Thank you all.”

Perry, who was released by WWE in June 2021 alongside several other talents, later made her AEW debut at the All Out pay-per-view in 2023, following the Miro vs. Powerhouse Hobbs match. She was initially aligned with Miro before being paired with Andrade El Idolo on television.

Her last notable appearance with AEW was during the Worlds End pay-per-view in December 2024, where Miro defeated Andrade in what marked Andrade’s final match with the promotion. Perry has been absent from AEW programming since that event, and she later confirmed during an interview with USA Today at the 2024 ESPY Awards that her time with AEW had come to an end.

Fans and peers have expressed their well-wishes, and we join in wishing Perry a speedy recovery.
