Fightful Select reports that NJPW star Henare, sidelined in early December due to an injury, could be out of in-ring action for the rest of the year.
Depending on his recovery, the company does not expect to have him back for the remainder of the year.
Fightful also stated that Henare was set for surgery in late December, but they haven’t yet found out how the surgery went.
Henare was co-holder of the IWGP World Tag Team Championship with Great-O-Khan, but the titles were vacated following the injury.
