NJPW President and Japanese pro wrestling legend Hiroshi Tanahashi announced during their King Of Pro Wrestling event on Monday, October 14th that he has set a date for his retirement from the ring.
Tanahashi’s retirement will take place as part of the Wrestle Kingdom 20 event on Sunday, January 4th, 2026.
