New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) recently announced that new IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Hirooki Goto will put his title on the line against Hiroshi Tanahashi as part of their NJPW 53rd Anniversary Show on Thursday, March 6th.
Previously announced for the show are El Desperado (c) vs. Francesco Akira for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship, Los Ingobernables de Japon (Tetsuya Naito, Hiromu Takahashi, Shingo Takagi, and Yota Tsuji) vs. House of Torture (EVIL, Dick Togo, Yujiro Takahashi and SHO, War Dogs (Gabe Kidd and Drilla Moloney) vs. Yoshinobu Kanemaru and Ren Narita, TAKA Michinoku, Yuya Uemura and Taichi vs. Taiji Ishimori, SANADA and Gedo, Hartley Jackson and Ryohei Oiwa vs. Chase Owens and Bad Luck Fale and El Phantasmo defend his NJPW WORLD Television Championship against a mystery opponent.
