Nick Gage defeated Jon Moxley to win the GCW World Championship at Saturday’s GCW Fight Club.
If Gage had lost the match, one of the conditions was that he had to retire. The match featured the use of a variety of weapons, such as light tubes and barbed wire. Additionally, Gage repeatedly carved Moxley’s forehead with a pizza slicer.
bAEW stars Stokely Hathaway and W. Morrissey got involved in the finish, with Morrissey chokeslamming Moxley through a barbed wire glass window pane. Gage took home the victory by delivering three piledrivers and a choke breaker to Moxley.
After the match, Gage praised Moxley on his performance. He stated that he is going to keep going and going and that the fans were the reason he was able to win the title.
