This past Friday night’s post-Fastlane episode of WWE SmackDown saw Nick Aldis announced as the new General Manager of the blue brand by WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque after The Game announced that Adam Pearce will be the General Manager of RAW.
Shortly following the show, Aldis spoke with Cathy Kelly for a WWE Digital Exclusive on what he felt during his debut for the company.
Aldis said, “I’m feeling wonderful. Like I said out there, it’s the opportunity of a lifetime to be the general manager of SmackDown, the number one brand in all of sports entertainment. Wow. It’s a testament to the many hats that I’ve worn in the industry outside of the ring. To be bestowed that trust by Triple H and the rest of the management team at WWE is a huge thrill.”
