Nia Jax Explains The Viral “My Hole” Spot From A 2021 Episode Of WWE RAW

Nia Jax worked a match with Lana on a WWE Monday Night Raw episode in February 2021 that featured a memorable moment that went viral on social media.

When Lana moved, Jax took a leg drop bump on the ring apron, but she landed hard and shouted, ‘My hole.’

Jax revealed her intentions for the spot during a virtual signing with K & S WrestleFest, noting that the comment was planned ahead of time. In fact, she discussed it with Triple H and stated that her intention was to make Triple H and Vince McMahon laugh, not to go viral.

“So, it was during the COVID era, right? ‘My hole’ was during the COVID era… We have a lot more freedom during the COVID era and I had discussed it actually with Triple H before when we were rehearsing the match and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, you want me to do a leg drop on the apron?’ And I was like, ‘My freaking butthole’s gonna…’ So it was more of a joke to pop Hunter and Vince (McMahon) in Gorilla. It was literally more to make them laugh. So when I did it, that was the intention and then when I got backstage and saw that everybody was texting me about ‘my hole’ trending, that’s not what my intention was.”

Jax recalled a conversation he had with the merchandiser, who was going to go through the proper channels to have a T-shirt made with the comment but needed approval before releasing it. Because WWE did not want it to become a gimmick, no merchandise was released.
