According to Fightful Select, a pitch for a 30-minute sitcom based on the world of the indie pro wrestling in Los Angeles, California was recently made to the FX network.
The report also noted that the idea for the sitcom would be something like “Dazed and Confused” meets “The Wrestler.”
One of the independent pro wrestling stars connected to the upcoming sitcom is Luke Hawx, and the hope is other real independent wrestlers will be featured on the show, which is set in the modern-day L.A. scene.
