AEW applied for two new trademarks.
On September 5, AEW filed for both The Clone and El Clon. The trademarks have been listed for entertainment purposes. Here’s the description:
“Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestler; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer.”
It is unclear who will use the term and whether it will refer to a ring name or nickname.
Tonight, AEW will air a three-hour block of Rampage and Collision, competing against WWE SmackDown. On Saturday night, they will host the All Out pay-per-view event at the NOW Arena in Chicago, Illinois.
Swerve Strickland vs. Hangman Page in an unsanctioned lights-out match is expected to main event the show.
