MVP Issues Update On His Health Following WWE Departure

MVP is preparing for the next chapter of his life after leaving WWE with Bobby Lashley after their contracts ended earlier this month.

As previously stated, the working plan is to rebuild the Hurt Business stable with Shelton Benjamin, potentially via AEW. It’s also possible that they’ll join another promotion.

MVP formerly worked for WWE from 2005 till 2010. MVP returned to WWE in 2020, working the Men’s Royal Rumble Match, so that his son could see him wrestle in a WWE ring again. He had a producer tryout before returning full-time as a wrestler/manager. He also helped to establish the faction and eventually managed Omos.

Earlier this month, he made an unexpected appearance at Bloodsport XI, following Josh Barnett’s match versus Bad Dude Tito. He challenged Barnett to a future match.

MVP posted on Instagram that he had gotten stem cell treatment for his knee and is no longer in agony.
