MLW Underground Results – April 4, 2023
Kicking off this week’s Underground with Real1 delivered a promo and repeated his bit from last week in saying that he had one word to describe Microman D W A R F. Real1 spoke about a Dumpster Match while a graphic listed him as facing Mance Warner, Microman & Matthew Justice in a Fatal 4 Way Dumpster Match next week. Real 1 said he would drop Microman in a bind for feminine napkins.
Mance Warner made his entrance carrying a small chainsaw. Real 1 exited the ring to avoid Warner. Matthew Justice came out with a chair to prevent Real1 from exiting via the stage. Justice came to ringside and then Real1 ran to the stage where a trashcan filled with weapons was located.
Real 1 tried to pull out a kendo stick and eventually did but Microman popped his head up from inside the trashcan. Real1 ran backstage. Warner & Justice pulls Microman out of the trashcan and places him on a chair. They played to the crowd.
Hardcore Match
Rickey Shane Page vs. 1 Called Manders
1 Called Manders went to ringside and pulls out a door board & chairs. Manders wedged a chair in the corner of the ring. Raven spoke to the broadcast team about how time had finally caught up to him and now he has likeminded individuals who want to watch the world burn.
Manders pulls out a back and poured thumbtacks in the ring, then performed a spinebuster onto them, Manders picks up Page and slam him through the door board that was set up in the corner of the ring and got a two count.
After the break Manders hits Page with the cowbell that he brought to the ring. Manders covered Page for another near fall. Manders set up a table but Page threw a chair at Manders’ head. Page pulls Manders onto the ropes with him. Manders fought back.
Manders drops down and threw a chair that Page caught and then threw back at the head of Manders. Manders ends up under the table Page hits a senton and crashed through the table onto Manders to get the win.
Winner: Rickey Shane Page
After the match Page was joined in the ring by the gas mask guys. He tried to put a calling card in the mouth of Manders but he fought back and escapes.
Open The Twin Gate Titles Match
Natural Vibes (Kzy & Big Boss Shimizu) (c) vs. FBI (Little Guido & Ray Jaz)
Ray Jaz picks up a near fall and then tags in Little Guido & he miss a middle rope leg drop on Kzy. Big Boss Shimizu tags in and roughs up FBI. Kzy tags in. Shimizu chokeslams Jaz and then Kzy nails a top rope splash onto Jaz to score the win.
Winners & Still Open The Twin Gate Champions: Natural Vibes (STILL CHAMPIONS!!!!)
We get a Calling video package aired and included promo sound bytes from Raven,Akira & Rickey Shane Page. They line Trust in Raven was repeated several times at the end.
Lio Rush walks out with a microphone and spoke from the stage. Rush said he is the greatest Middleweight Champion of all time. Rush said he would sit in on commentary and watch the match closely.
Middleweight Title Match
Lince Dorado (c) vs. Delirious
Delirious attacks Lince Dorado and went for a couple of early covers. Dorado fights back and knocked Delirious down with a dropkick. Delirious rolls under the ropes. Dorado joined him on the apron. Delirious picks up Dorado and drops him on the apron.
Delirious pulls the Middleweight Title off the desk and looks at it as Rush told him to be careful with it. Delirious put the Middleweight Title down in front of Rush and then returns to the ring. Delirious eventually went up top and splashed the back of Dorado before covering him for a near fall & we go to a break.
After the break Dorado booted Delirious off the apron. Delirious went up top and performed a crossbody block on Delirious on the floor. Dorado rolls Delirious back inside the ring and went up top but Delirious cut him off. Dorado slips under Delirious and powerbombs him. Dorado goes up to the top tope and hits a shooting star press and scored the win.
Winner & Still Middleweight Champion: Lince Dorado (STILL CHAMPION!!!)
After the match Rush brought the Middleweight Title into the ring. Rush held the title out and Dorado grabs one side while Rush held on to the other. Rush eventually lets Dorado take the Middleweight Title.
Dorado turns his back and looks to the crowd. Rush hits a springboard cutter on Dorado and then works him over. Rush picks up the Middleweight Title and hits Dorado with it. Dorado put the belt over his shoulder and left the ring with it. Rush went to ringside and thanks the broadcast team before heading to the back with the Middleweight Title.
Backstage Davey Boy Smith Jr. ran off Alex Kane & Mr. Thomas who had Thomas Billington laid out on the ground.

Natural Vibes were the Open The Twin Gate Champions as this was taped back on Feb 2nd, 2023 but they did lose them yesterday at Buyuden Zero to NOAH’s Kongo (Kenoh & Shuji Kondo)
