CMLL World Historic Middleweight Champion Mistico appeared on the October 30th episode of Informa and announced he is relinquishing his championship because he is closer to being a light heavyweight now and he is beat up from the number of title defenses he has had.
Mistico revealed he is moving up to light heavyweight and chasing those titles. CMLL will hold a tournament for the now-vacant title, which Mistico held for 2,263 days. Mistico originally won the title by defeating Ultimo Guerrero on August 21st, 2018.
