Miro will make his AEW return this Saturday night on the premiere of Collision from Chicago, IL. The show will also feature the return of CM Punk in a trios match with FTR against Jay White, Juice Robinson, and Samoa Joe.
Miro hasn’t wrestled since he and Darby Allin defeated The House of Black at the All Out pay-per-view in September. He was kept off television until a one-time cameo appearance on a May episode of Dynamite in which he was seen walking into Tony Khan’s office.
AEW presented plans to him while he was off television, but he didn’t like what was pitched and turned them down, prompting AEW to decide to keep him off television until they could agree on creative.
Miro responded on Twitter to a fan who criticized AEW for putting him on a terrible show. Miro responded by pointing out that the show hadn’t yet begun, so how could it be terrible.
Miro wrote, “How can it be terrible when it hasn’t happened yet ? The debut episode is this Saturday June 17th and The Redeemer will be there.”
