As PWMania.com previously reported, reigning MLW World Champion Matt Riddle was advertised to appear at Memphis Wrestling’s TV taping on January 26th.
PWInsider.com reports that Riddle didn’t appear at this weekend’s TV taping. Word at the show was that Riddle had informed the promotion the very same day that he wasn’t coming.
The taping was promoted around Riddle’s appearance, but Riddle was at Nick Hogan’s wedding on Saturday.
There is no word yet on whether Riddle will appear for Memphis Wrestling at a later date, but we will provide updates as soon as we have them.
