Matt Hardy is in a good place in his career right now, and he’s getting in shape.
Hardy has spent the last few years working for AEW. He began in March 2020 and has continued to portray the Broken Gimmick. He was used as a tag team star in the promotion, teaming up with his brother after Jeff Hardy joined All Elite Wrestling.
Hardy’s contract expired in March. He confirmed on his podcast that he has spoken with both WWE and AEW. The future WWE Hall of Famer teased that the next few weeks will be exciting, with some pretty cool things coming up.
There is speculation that he will return to work alongside Bo Dallas as Uncle Howdy, as Hardy shared the following teaser for Dallas’ return:

During his podcast, Matt commented on his teases:
“Full disclosure. I am doing what I should be doing as a free agent, creating hype around myself. Yes, I have been speaking with AEW constantly. I have been speaking with WWE. I’ve been speaking with several people across several different platforms. So I think the next couple of weeks are going to be fun. The next few weeks are going to be fun.”
