Former WWE talent Matt Camp recently took to an episode of his The Wrestling Matt show, where he talked about a number of topics including his lack of chemistry with Megan Morant.

Camp said, “You’re right about the lack of chemistry, 100%. I don’t know if that played into it. I know that show doesn’t exist, so who knows. That show hasn’t been on in months. I don’t know if it’s coming back. It seems to be out of the way. The show was not the same without Kayla, 100%.”

On why things didn’t work with Morant:

“No, Megan and I did not have chemistry. The fact that I just said her name for the first time on this show, ever, should tell you plenty. It didn’t work. I tried to help her, she didn’t want the help. S**t, I’ll go further, Michael Cole was checking in with me on how she was doing, and I would have to tell him, ‘Hmmm, she doesn’t really want the help.’ I’m not there anymore and she is. Call that for what you will. No, we did not have chemistry. I knew it. I tried to help. I wanted her to get better. Initially, she wanted to get better. ‘Hey, you’re going to be in town for this community event, why don’t you come sit backstage and watch Raw Talk. We’ll show you everything we do.’ ‘Hey, you’re still here, why don’t you come sit and stay around for The Bump this week.’ ‘That would be cool if we put you on the show. You can do this.’ Those things happened. I talked to Cole. ‘Hey, if she wants to keep coming around, I’d be happy to have her around. She can shadow. She can learn from the best in Jackie. We can show her the ropes. It’s good to be around these things.’ She was into it. That continued. I encouraged it.”

On Morant becoming the No. 2 behind Kayla Braxton on SmackDown:

“They made the call, Megan is the number two to Kayla on SmackDown. Jackie is moving. We’re going to take Megan off the road, she’ll be a Stamford person with me and Ryan. Now, she’ll be with you on all three shows. Okay. I wasn’t thrilled because I was losing Kayla, but I got it. We’re going to make this work. Let’s try hard. It didn’t work. The trying stops. The conversations I have to try and improve things [motions in one ear and out there other]. No, we had no chemistry. That’s what happened. You don’t always get what you want. You try to make the best out of the situation. I can only help so much. Now, that show doesn’t exist anymore.”

On how Morant never reached out to him after he was released:

“You know who never said a word to me? This needs to be said. I’m kind of tired of this ****. Megan never said a word to me. I got let go. That show went on the air on Wednesday. I get it, they don’t acknowledge those people. Not a f***ing text. Nothing. Nada. Remember that when you help people out. Remember that.”

On no longer talking to Morant:

“I don’t really care because I don’t work there anymore and I don’t talk to her, and she clearly has no interest in talking to me even though she was given help. She can deny all this ****. I don’t care. It’s the truth. Enough people know that. People I care about know that answer. People she works with know that answer. I said it before I left. You want to connect those dots. I’ve been trying to do that since February. It’s probably true.”
