AEW/ROH star Mark Briscoe spoke with Justin Dhillon on Casual Conversations with The Wrestling Classic on a number of topics, including how he is happy that he won championships in ROH, but his current goal is to win some championship gold in AEW.
Briscoe said, “I wanted to win some AEW gold. I mean, whether that’s singles gold, whether that’s six-man, I want to win some AEW gold. That’s one of the first things I said when I got here. I said, ‘I smell gold in them there hills.’ I won the Ring of Honor World Title. That’s one of the top accomplishments of my whole career, and I’m not at all slighting the Ring of Honor World Championship, not at all, because I’d be happy to get another shot there. But I want some AEW gold, man. Whether I got the conglomerate with a couple of my boys and get [Trios] Titles, whether I get another shot at the TNT, do I get a shot at the International, or I get a shot at the big boy. You know what I mean? I just want some gold.”
