During this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, General Manager Nick Aldis demanded “The Prize Fighter” Kevin Owens to give up possession of the Winged Eagle Championship or he will not be allowed to enter a WWE ring again and compete. Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes then made his way out and proposed a Title Unification Ladder Match with Owens at the 2025 Royal Rumble PLE, which the SmackDown General Manager agreed to.
WWE Royal Rumble 2025 will take place on Saturday, February 1st, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
