Lio Rush is banged up after Sunday night.
The pro wrestling star suffered an injury during the physical ladder match for the vacant TNT Championship at the AEW & NJPW: Forbidden Door 2024 pay-per-view.
After the show, Beyond Wrestling confirmed Rush’s injury status and announced that he has been pulled from their scheduled show this Thursday, July 4.
“Lio Rush suffered an injury during tonight’s ladder match and will no longer be able to compete against Aaron Rourke at Americanrana this Thursday, 4th of July at White Eagle in Worcester. We are working to find a suitable replacement.”
Rush would go on to confirm the news himself as well.
“I’m good guys,” he wrote via X. “Couple ice baths and I’ll be straight. I appreciate the concern.”
