WWE announced the latest class of NXT signees.
Among the names was Lance Anoa’i, Samu’s son and grandson of the late Afa the Wild Samoan. Evander Holyfield, a former NFL player and the son of boxing icon, was also confirmed.
In 2023, Fightful Select stated that Lance Anoa’i had been released from MLW and indicated desire in joining WWE. Anoa’i reportedly signed with WWE this past summer.
According to Fightful’s most recent report, he is not scheduled to be in NXT or on the main roster anytime soon because he is recovering from an injury and will most likely be out for some time.
