Top AEW star Kyle Fletcher appeared on the Good Karma Wrestling podcast to discuss several topics, including the return of his real-life girlfriend and fellow AEW star, Skye Blue, to the company and Blue’s recovery from injury. Blue had been out of action since July 2024 due to a broken ankle.
Fletcher said, “Definitely challenging, but also rewarding in other ways because as she got better and as she started going through her rehab process and she was able to get back in the gym, I was able to be there for her and help her through all that kind of stuff. That was very rewarding for me. Nurse Fletcher did good. It’s now Dr. Fletcher, getting her ready for the ring. She’ll be coming sooner than we think.”
On Blue being excited to return with the women’s division as strong as it currently is:
“You have no idea. She is like when something is cooped up for too long and ready to bust out. That’s her right now.”
