Japanese professional wrestler Kota Ibushi took to his official Twitter (X) account again in a couple of days to provide another update on his health and injury after undergoing surgery on his ankle on January 17th, 2024.
This update comes after a fan asked Ibushi on social media if he would avenge his friend Kenny Omega, who was on the receiving end of a brutal attack at the hands of The Elite several weeks back. Ibushi responded to the fan and said that as soon as the doctor cleared him, he would make his return and help out Omega, but right now, he is only 85% healed.
Ibushi wrote, “Of course, if my current doctor in Japan tells me that I can compete, I will report to AEW and return immediately. I’m now 85% alive. Please wait a little more.”
