Pro wrestling legend Kevin Von Erich recently spoke with Third League Radio on a number of topics including his sons Ross and Marshall appearing in AEW.
Kevin Von Erich said, โWeโve got a show for AEW. Itโs this new wrestling company thatโs cutting edge. My sons love it. Iโm for all the businesses, WWE, AEW, and all the new companies coming up, I want them all to do well. But I especially have a good feeling about AEW. These guys are sharp, theyโre smart, and theyโre experienced. They know what theyโre doing, and I like the feel of it. So weโre looking forward to it.โ
On his sons carrying on the family legacy:
โItโs weird. Their first few matches got me choked up. I was like, โWhatโs wrong with me?โ Itโs pretty big. I love those boys so much. Iโm so proud of them. Watching them wrestle is great. It kind of lights me up,โ Von Erich said.
On whether his sons might be at ROH Death Before Dishonor:
โI donโt know what I can say or canโt say. I know they are in negotiations right now. Theyโre talking to different people. I know that itโs a great day, and great days are coming. I love the AEW mentality and the way they are, and theyโve got great catering, too [laughs]. WWE, them too, nothing against them, but I really like AEW. Thatโs kind of where Iโm leaning right now, but itโs up to the boys, so weโll just see. Weโll find out.โ
