AEW star Katsuyori Shibata took on pro wrestling legend Hiroshi Tanahashi in a five-minute exhibition match at Wrestle Dynasty, but the AEW star appeared in a backstage interview after the show and noted he wants to run it back with Tanahashi in AEW.
Shibata said (via his phone), “Five minutes is too short for us. I think this needs to be continued in AEW.”
AEW and NJPW have yet to announce if or when the match could take place.
