On April 16th at Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Green Journey 2023 in Sendai event, the current GHC Heavyweight Champion Jake Lee will defend his title for the first time against Katsuhiko Nakajima.
A press conference for the event was held earlier today in Japan in which things got physical between Lee and Nakajima. Towards the end of the press conference Lee held up the GHC Heavyweight Title and pressed it against Nakajima’s face. Nakajima retaliated with a viscous slap to Lee’s face that knocked him out.

Prior to the Nakajima slap on Lee, each had words to say about each other and the upcoming match at Green Journey 2023 in Sendai.
As per Katsuhiko Nakajima: “NOAH’s noble GHC Heavy belt has gone to an outside enemy. We have no choice but to take it back. I think everyone is being cheated. Katsuhiko Nakajima of KONGO will take it back on 4.16 in Sendai.”

As per Jake Lee: “Good evening everyone. I’m not nervous, even though this is my first defence. What I have to do is to accept Katsuhiko Nakajima as a former NOAH champion. And to win. That’s all.”
