The main event of this past Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision saw Blackpool Combat Club member “The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson defeat Japanese pro wrestling legend Jun Akiyama in a singles match. Akiyama took to his official Twitter (X) account a few hours later and thanked the AEW fans for their cheers as it helped him during the match.
Akiyama also said he will see them again, teasing a future appearance for All Elite Wrestling.
Before his appearance on this past Saturday’s Collision, Akiyama competed for AEW back in 2022 in a televised match.
Akiyama wrote, “Thank you very much to all AEW fans!” “Everyone’s cheering helped me.” “See you again.”
