Next week, NJPW superstar Juice Robinson will make his AEW Dynamite debut.
Robinson will face new AEW World Champion Jon Moxley in a World Title Eliminator match next Wednesday night. The Match was announced during Friday night’s Grand Slam edition of AEW Rampage. If Robinson can defeat Moxley on Dynamite, he will earn a future title mach.
Robinson, who is engaged to AEW Interim Women’s World Champion Toni Storm, made a brief backstage appearance with Tony Schiavone and IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Jay White at the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view in June.
There’s no word on whether this will result in more AEW dates for Robinson, but he did reveal earlier this year that he signed a contract extension with NJPW that will keep him signed until 2023. The former WWE superstar made his Impact Wrestling debut tonight on the Victory Road special from Nashville, Tennessee. On the Countdown To Victory Road pre-show, he teamed with fellow Bullet Club members Ace Austin and Chris Bey to defeat former Gut Check winners Shogun, Jason Hotch, and Jack Price in six-man action.
As PWMania.com previously reported, Moxley will defend against “Hangman” Adam Page at Tuesday Night Dynamite on October 18 from Cincinnati, OH. Page won the Golden Ticket Battle Royale on Rampage to earn the title shot.
AEW has announced the following line-up for Wednesday’s Dynamite episode from the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, PA:

* MJF will appear live and speak to the crowd
* The Jericho Appreciation Society celebrates Chris Jericho’s ROH World Title win
