Juice Robinson has officially signed with AEW.
Tonight’s AEW Rampage episode featured a pre-recorded promo in which Robinson challenged AEW TNT Champion Samoa Joe to a match for his ROH World Television Title at the upcoming ROH Final Battle pay-per-view on Saturday, December 10. AEW has since confirmed the match.
Robinson has signed with AEW, according to the commentary. Robinson and AEW reached an agreement on the terms of the deal a few weeks ago.
Robinson reintroduced himself in the promo below, then stated that he has arrived to challenge Joe to the Final Battle. Robinson stated that he has accomplished much in Japan, but he needs to prove himself in America, and if he is to be a TV Superstar, he needs the World Television Title around his waist. He declared that while Joe is currently the king of television, kings are dethroned.
Robinson, a member of The Bullet Club and a regular in NJPW, made his AEW debut on the September 28 edition of Dynamite, losing a World Title Eliminator match to Jon Moxley. Robinson has worked for a number of promotions in recent years, including NJPW, ROH, and Impact Wrestling. He is married to AEW’s Toni Storm. He has three former IWGP United States Heavyweight Championships, one former IWGP Tag Team Championship, and one Impact World Tag Team Championship. Robinson also twice held the FCW Florida Tag Team Titles while on a WWE developmental contract from 2011 to 2015.
