Jon Moxley’s IWGP Heavyweight Title defense date and opponent have been confirmed.
During his break from AEW, the top star of AEW defeated Tetsuya Naito to become the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion last Friday at the NJPW Windy City Riot. He returns to AEW this week at Dynamite.
Moxley made history as the first wrestler to hold the WWE, AEW, and NJPW world championships as a result of his title win. He is now scheduled to work the upcoming Wrestling Dontaku 2024 event on May 4th.
He will defend his title at the Fukuoka International Center against House of Torture’s Ren Narita.
The show will also feature IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion Nic Nemeth defending his championship against NJPW President Hiroshi Tanahashi.
