Jon Moxley will not be appearing at Ireland’s Over The Top Wrestling’s Scrappermania event as planned.
The promotion announced today that Moxley would not be appearing at the March 17 show. Moxley is the top advertised star for AEW’s House Rules live event on March 18 in Troy, Ohio, Moxley’s home state.
For the OTT event, Moxley vs. Trent Seven had been announced. As a replacement, AEW will send Eddie Kingston and an unnamed talent to the show. The announcement was as follows:
“OTT have announced their first ever FanFest for Scrappermania 7. Due to circumstances out of their control, Jon Moxley will no longer be available to appear. Eddie Kingston, a 2nd unnamed AEW star, will appear along with Santino Marella, Davey Richards, Big Damo and more.”
The AEW house show features Moxley, Britt Baker, Orange Cassidy, and others. On Wednesday’s Dynamite, the former AEW World Heavyweight champion will face Evil Uno.
