Jon Moxley loves Boston.
Ahead of tonight’s AEW Dynamite in the city at the TD Garden, the leader of the Blackpool Combat Club spoke with Sports Illustrated for an interview to promote the Blood & Guts main event.
“I f—ing love TD Garden and Boston,” he said of the location of tonight’s event. “What a building, what a crowd. It’s going to be f—ing awesome.”
He also spoke about how the BCC going after The Elite, or in this case, The Golden Elite, proves how they are out to make it clear they are the top faction in the business.
“We’re going after the best, or at least the supposed best, in The Elite,” he said. “The freaking company is named after them. Blood & Guts is our chance to plant our flag as the most dominant group in AEW.”
Regarding the Blood & Guts atmosphere for the showdown this evening, Mox couldn’t be more excited.
“I’m f—ing excited as all hell to bring something very unique—our version of Blood & Guts—to those fans and all the history of pro wrestling in Boston,” Mox said. “I don’t know if anyone in The Elite has ever wrestled in the TD Garden before.”
