WWE star Johnny Gargano recently appeared on Iron-On Wrestling with Gregory Iron, where he talked about a number of topics including how when he was 17 pro wrestling legend Buff Bagwell said he didn’t have what it took to make it.
Gargano said, “That’s the famous time where my dad asked Buff Bagwell if my son was going to make it. Buff Bagwell said ‘no.’ He said, ‘What do you think, Buff, you think my son has got it?’ Buff was like, ‘No. He doesn’t.’”
“He’s since apologized. Well, his Twitter account apologized. Not sure if he actually did it, but the person that ran his Twitter did.”
