Former multi-time NXT Champion and #DIY member Johnny Gargano is set to take on WWE Tag Team Champion Grayson Waller on this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, but it’s no secret that the two have a personal history and animosity towards each other after Waller cost Gargano close to a year and a half in his career.
Gargano appeared on an episode of the Smackdown Lowdown, where he talked about a number of topics including how he can’t wait to beat the hell out of Waller.
Gargano said, “You know, me and Austin Theory have a bit of a complicated history. Me and Grayson Waller, it’s a lot less complicated. I hate his guts. He’s a piece of garbage. I can’t wait to beat the hell out of him.”
“Will that get us one step closer to the WWE Tag Team Titles? I hope so. But I am going to take some pleasure in just beating him up. That’s going to be awesome.”
