Backstage at The O2 Arena in London during WWE Money In The Bank, veteran Superstar John Cena spoke with WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley.

Cena posted the video to his TikTok profile and appeared to praise Ripley, writing, “[clapping emoji] [UK flag emoji] @Rhea Ripley”

The video has around 3 million views on Cena’s TikTok account, with a few million more on versions shared by the official WWE Twitter account and various fan pages. Ripley has not commented on her backstage encounter with Cena, but she did re-tweet a copy and re-posted WWE’s copy to her Instagram Stories.

WWE asked fans on Instagram, “What do you think they were talking about? [thinking emoji]”

WWE added on Twitter, “John Cena, meet Mami! [smirking face emoji]”

On Saturday, Cena made a surprise appearance in London, his first since losing to WWE United States Champion Austin Theory at WrestleMania 39. Cena helped UK fans make the case for a future WrestleMania in London, but he was cut off by Grayson Waller. Waller eventually attacked Cena, but the encounter finished with Cena finishing him out with an Attitude Adjustment. Ripley did not wrestle at Money In The Bank, but she did accompany Dominik Mysterio to the ring following his loss to Cody Rhodes. She defeated Natalya two nights later on RAW in a highly lauded match. Backstage news and more from the match can be found by clicking here.
