AEW announcer and Senior Advisor “Good Ole’ J.R.” Jim Ross took to an episode of his “Grilling Jr” podcast to talk about a number of topics, including AEW World Champion Jon Moxley defending his title against Orange Cassidy at Full Gear.
Ross said, “I think it’ll be fabulous. I think Orange Cassidy will have a jaw-dropping moment, and Moxley is in a unique situation where he’s just become the champ. They used to have a term called character babyfaces. Like, Dusty was a character babyface. He wasn’t a traditional baby face, Rick Martel-looking guy and all that. He was a different breed of cat. So he’s just getting started again. And Orange seems like he’s been around forever. And I happen to be a big fan of his work. A smart kid, he’d be a really good office guy some day. He’s really bright. So I think that adding all those external factors into this equation, they’ll surprise us. It’s the right match to close the show.”
