Jim Ross revealed that he recently spoke with Jerry “The King” Lawler and that the news on his health appears to be good.
Lawler’s voice improved during their conversation, according to Ross, and he will “undergo a procedure” next week to “help his situation.”
Best wishes to Lawler, who was admitted to the hospital in February after suffering a stroke. Lawler made his first television appearance since his stroke to help induct Andy Kaufman into the Hall of Fame. Because of his health, he was unable to fly, but he sent in a video statement that was taped at his home.

Had a great one hour convo today with @JerryLawler who’s recovering from the affects of a stroke.
Jerry’s voice seem to get stronger the longer we spoke.
