WWE Hall of Famer Jake “The Snake” Roberts was managing Lance Archer in AEW but has recently been working behind the scenes with younger talent on character development and promos.
During his podcast, Roberts expressed an interest in writing for AEW now that Collision has been added to the weekly schedule.
He said, “Absolutely. I would love the opportunity. Just give me fifteen minutes a show. Let me put something together … I know that I can help. I’m begging for that job.”
Several wrestlers, including Bryan Danielson, Dax Harwood, and Jimmy Jacobs, have reportedly been assisting AEW President Tony Khan with the creative process recently.
