Tony Khan and AEW benefited from the recent attack angle.
The Young Bucks, Jack Perry, and Kazuchika Okada laid out the AEW President at the end of Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, which made headlines. In the show’s final segment, Perry and Khan appeared to put their differences aside, with Perry stating that all he wanted to do was wrestle in AEW and improve it.
Perry hoped to be reinstated. Khan agreed before Perry punched him in the stomach. To close the show, the Young Bucks laid out their boss with a finisher. It is the first time Khan has gotten physical during his promotion.
Khan was wearing a neck brace coming out of the angle, keeping kayfabe alive even during the NFL Draft, where he was part of the team that selected LSU wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. in the first round on Thursday night.
As shown below, Thomas wished Khan a speedy recovery.
