Issues With WWE Signings At Fanatics Fest

The first Fanatics Fest was held from August 16 to August 18 at New York City’s Javits Center, where WWE was well-represented. While it was a success, not everything went as planned, at least for WWE.

As PWMania.com previously reported, the most popular item during the convention was WWE fans’ chance to walk out of a tunnel to their favorite wrestler’s entrance music, which is also available at WrestleMania Axcess and other large events. Fans also had the opportunity to take photos and sign autographs with WWE performers, which sold out.

However, the high demand caused numerous complications, as Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com reported a lengthy wait for signature and photo sessions. Johnson’s companion described the scene as a “sh*t show,” while others dubbed it a “very disorganized experience.”

According to the story, someone pre-paid for a photo with Jade Cargill but received a refund after waiting two hours because Cargill was taken from the signing despite the fact that fans were waiting in line.

It did not stop there. Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes’ signing session likewise ended prematurely. He had a certain departure time since he needed to fly to WWE’s house show in Fort Myers, Florida, where he worked the main event against Solo Sikoa and retained the belts. The system also fell down throughout the session, and fans who did not meet Rhodes received refunds.
