The first NJPW Strong episode of 2023 will feature the inaugural Strong Survivor Match.
The match will begin with an over-the-top elimination Battle Royale format. When only four wrestlers remain, the match will be decided by pinfall/submission. The final wrestler standing will be awarded a future shot at the NJPW Strong Openweight Title, which Fred Rosser currently holds.
Hikuleo and Alan Angels will also face The Bullet Club’s El Phantasmo and IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Jay White on Saturday’s NJPW Strong episode. This will be the opener, followed by the Strong Survivor match.
