Fightful Select has some backstage news regarding this past week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
On a recent episode of Grapsody, Will Washington revealed that Swerve Strickland was originally scheduled to face Wheeler Yuta on Dynamite. The match was instead moved to Rampage, which would air two nights later, due to a last-minute change in plans.
The company changed its focus once again, with Swerve wrestling AR Fox on Dynamite.
In addition, the person accompanying MJF on Dynamite during the Bryan Danielson vs. Ethan Page match was freelancer Daddi Doom, who has previously collaborated with Ryzin and Abadon. The company hasn’t signed her.
On Dynamite this week, Danielson will wrestle Tony Nese.
