WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan shared his thoughts on Kendrick Lamar’s performance at the 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Show while speaking to Fox News—and it’s safe to say he wasn’t exactly a fan.
“Bro, I couldn’t understand a word that was being said, man. I had my volume turned up. I had a bunch of people yelling and screaming at the house, and I really didn’t know what was going on, man. I was waiting for Willie Nelson to come out, man, and sing America the Beautiful or something.”
When asked if he’d like to see Nelson perform at a future Halftime Show—especially now that Donald Trump is back as President of the United States—Hogan responded enthusiastically:
“Yeah, that would be great!”
Hogan’s comments reflect a divide in reception to Lamar’s performance, which featured his signature lyricism and high-energy production. While some praised the set as a standout moment, others—like Hogan—seemed to struggle to connect with the style.
As always, Hogan remains vocal with his opinions, sparking conversation both in and outside of the wrestling world.
