Big E wrote on Twitter that Hulk Hogan personally apologized to him backstage at Wrestlemania 35 over Hogan’s racist comments.
Fans took note that during Hulk Hogan’s Hall of Fame appearance, the New Day members did not stand nor clap for him. New Day were vocal critics of Hogan being brought back when the announcement was first made.
