During Sunday’s NXT No Mercy PLE, WWE announced that NXT Champion “All Ego” Ethan Page will defend his championship at the brand’s debut on The CW. There is no word yet on who he will defend the title against, yet.
Page remains the NXT Champion after defeating Joe Hendry at No Mercy.
Previously announced for the CW debut show, which takes place in Rosemont, Illinois on October 1st, is an appearance by CM Punk.
