GUNTHER Believes Randy Orton Wasted A Lot Of Potential

GUNTHER and Randy Orton are set to face off again, this time for a major title.

GUNTHER defeated Orton in the King of the Rings final earlier this year. However, there was some disagreement because Orton’s shoulder was up when the referee counted the pinfall. Following that show, Triple H stated that they will run it again when Orton was fit.

GUNTHER is scheduled to defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton at WWE Bash In Berlin later this month.

GUNTHER spoke with Jim Varsallone of the Miami Herald about the impending match in character.

“I think Randy’s career is undeniable. On the other hand, we have to be honest here. He was destined to be the greatest of all time. All the bad decisions he made in his career and the issues he had, he still is one of the greatest, but he wasted a lot of potential. I’m not in the business of wasting potential. I think I overexceeded in a lot of ways and Randy is the opposite. Even though he achieved a lot, I still think he underachieved for the talent that he has.”
